Platoon Leader
Assigned Wild Cat platoon leader, replacing Lt. Armstrong
Newly arrived at LZ Rita and not yet assigned to a company, Spingath was given to Colavita by Colonel Frank Henry the same morning Armstrong's removal from D Company was approved (~27 Nov 1968, the day after SP4 Raymond Ahern's death). He remained Wild Cat's platoon leader for the rest of Colavita's command. See soldiers/colavita-henry and soldiers/henry-frank.
