Contact — Bunker Complex
Cat Platoon spotted enemy at a creek. Range Platoon walked into a fortified bunker complex. 4 KIA. CPL Cardwell, CPL Drinkard, CPL Hall. Multiple accounts preserved without editorial reconciliation.
24 April 1971 · FSB Fontaine
Huey Crash — Only Known Photos
UH-1 crashed shortly after departure. 3 KIA. SGT Miller's photographs are the only known visual record. FSB Fanning named for the pilot who died.
