Operation Creek II — War Zone D, 19 May – 22 June 1969

Creek II overlapped Comanche Warrior in time and place and was conducted by the same 3rd Brigade against the 5th VC Division in War Zone D; the ORLL discusses the two together (see the Comanche Warrior page for the shared mission, narrative, and combined results — 132 enemy killed across both operations). Communications support records place 3rd Brigade activity in the Blackhorse–Long Giao area with a relay on Nui Chua Chan, in the Long Khanh sector.

Relevance to the cluster: none directly. Documented so the quarter's operational picture is complete and so no D Co casualty is mistakenly tied to a War Zone D operation 2/8 Cav did not take part in.
